Travis had a few days off work a few weeks ago so we took a last minute trip to Yellowstone. I had never been to Yellowstone before so I was pretty excited to go. We stopped in Rexburg Idaho for the first night and walked about BYU-I campus. So much has changed in the the past 5 years since we left.
You can't really tell what this picture is but it use to be a field and now it's a gym with 8 full basket ball courts in it. I thought it was amazing. There was also an auditorium but it was closed so I didn't get a picture of that. I couldn't believe how many new buildings there were Travis and Vincent walking around campus.
The next day we drove to Island Park and we saw a moose. I couldn't believe how close we were to it. Travis told me not to look at him in the eyes or he would charge after me. After that I kept trying to make eye contact with that moose but he wouldn't look at me.
After Island Park we went to West Yellowstone and drove around the national park for about 5 hours that first day and about 10 hours the second day. We saw lots of geysers, bison (buffalo), some deer, a bald eagle, a fox, a coyote, some beautiful water falls and lots of people getting way to close to the giant buffalo.
We took a lot of videos of the animals (mostly buffalo) and geysers but after 15 hours of driving around in the park we were having more fun people watching. I hope you enjoy.
