Festival of Trees

This year I was able to help decorate two trees from the Festival of Trees. This is the first year I have ever been, let alone help decorate a tree. The Young Women in my ward decided to make one tree in honor of Whitney and one in honor of Vincent. Then the trees are sold and the money goes the Primary Children Hospital. Thanks to everyone that helped! They turned out so cute.

This is Whitney's. Her's was called warm hands warm heart. There were mittens on the tree. With a beautiful quilt, tree skirt, a Christmas book, basket of hats, gloves and mittens and a sled.

Vincent's tree was cow boy themed. "Little buckaroo" The picture above is the rag quilt I made for his tree. His tree had all these cute decorations, a rocking horse, a cow boy book and cute decorated letters that spelled out little buckaroo.

I didn't have anything to do with these last three pictures but I thought I would share them with you anyways.

These two were gingerbread houses made to look like the house from the movie UP. I thought they were so cute, I had to take a picture of them.
This picture is kind of dark but I loved that the roof was made out of cinnamon toast crunch cereal.
