4th of July weekend!

We had a great holiday weekend. Vincent was so happy on Thursday. He played, talked and smiled all day. He took great naps and ate really well. He was so much fun. That night we went up to the mountains and roasted marshmallows with some friends. Vincent loves anything to do with being outside so he had a great time. We took our camera so we could take some pictures but our batteries were dead. Travis took Vincent ahead of us in the stroller and almost ran over a rattlesnake. He was really scared that he had Vincent out in front and worried about others, so he killed the snake with some hot-dog skewers. Friday morning we went to a neighborhood breakfast and had a great time seeing people that we use to live by. Then we all went home and took a nap. That never happens. Usually Travis or I has to say up holding Vincent because he wont sleep when we want to but he slept right next to us and took a good nap. That night we went to a little carnival by our house and then watched the fireworks and ate some pizza. Vincent slept through the fireworks while I was laying down holding him. He was such a good sport. Today we went to another BBQ. Travis went up hiking and swimming with his brother and some friends and Vincent and I came home and took a nap. All in all it's been a great weekend. Happy 4th of July!

What a doll. Life is so much easier when then babies cooperate with the program. Good thing no one got bite by the rattlesnake. said...

Oh Amy! He is so cute. We need to get the 2 together so Whitney can meet her future boyfriend! :) I like the one-handed typing blog entry. I know how that goes! I hope that all is well with your cute family!
