Memorial Day

We went to Whitney's grave site yesterday. There were so many beautiful flowers everywhere. We love and miss her!

We miss her too. Jon talks about her often. In fact, we still have that message you left us of Whitney's adorable machine gun cry still saved on our answering machine. You are both so strong to have handled and still be handling such a difficult trial.

It is amazing that little Whitney touched so many people in her short life! We miss her too and remember her often. It makes me smile to see Vincent in her carseat. lacey

Travis and Amy....I am not sure if Travis even remebers me but we used to be in the same ward at BYUI. I lived at La Jolla, he might remember Missy Storm, Chubbs and Gen Park. Anyway i came across your blog so randomly but after I saw your post about Whitney I had to leave a comment regardless if Travis remembers me or not.

Over two years ago my husband and I lost our first son Alex to a liver disease. He was 14 months old and waiting to receive a liver transplant. We know all too well the trials of watching our little one suffer in the hospital surgery after surgery or just getting infections. The last week of his life he was on full life support and then it was discovered he was brain dead. So we had to make the aweful decision to turn off the machines and watch him take his last breathes of life.

I just wanted you both to know that I truly know what you are going through. I am not sure the circumstances of your little one but based on the little slide show I am figureing we had similiar experiences as far as raising a sick child. If you ever want to talk or email please feel free. My email is cluff521@gmail.com. My blog is invite only so if you would like an invite so Travis could see if he remembers me just let me know.

You both are such strong people and what a blessing to have little Whitney in your life...she is so lucky to have you as well.

And i hope you don't mind that I looked at your blog.

Take care
